Coastal Marine Constructors, formally known as Arguelles Marine Contracting, is pleased to announce its launch under NEW owner partners, Tim King and Jonathan Toche.

As many of you well know, the original and reputable owner, Mike Arguelles, has been designing and building residential and commercial piers, bulkheads and boathouses on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 15 years. The skill, professionalism and attention to detail used to create these necessary and massive structures on the water is exactly what NEW owners Tim and Jonathan were looking for in a business opportunity — colliding their love of water with construction — with the ultimate goal of continuing the legacy of quality and great builds in our coastal environment.

In early 2024, Tim and Jonathan acquired Arguelles Marine Contracting from husband and wife duo Mike and Anita Arguelles, both renowned for their expertise in the marine construction business. Tim King, who also owns King Outdoor Group and King Sprinkler, partnered with friend and cohort Jonathan Toche, owner of Toche Construction Inc., were both looking to venture out to “all” areas of the outdoor business; this included outdoor structures such as custom piers, bulkheads, boathouses, boat lifts, and deck & dock construction.

By combining expertise in the outdoor construction realm along with custom home building capabilities, all to be led by these two customer service-driven individuals — well — that gave Coastal Marine Constructors (aka CMC) its official name and purpose!

CMC is here to help you make the most of your waterfront property! Our ultimate goal is to maintain and maximize your time by the water, and to make it as easily accessible as possible, all with a beautiful and craft-fully thought out aesthetic.

Our team specializes in securing all necessary permits from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (DMR), Mississippi Secretary of State for Mississippi Tidelands Leases and local city building permits — so that you don’t have to!

With so many years stamped in loyalty and love to the marine construction industry, Mike and Anita could not be more pleased to pass their legacy and business on to Tim and Jonathan.
